3 BEDROOM HOUSE MARKET
IN IRELAND WORTH OVER
326 BILLION EUROS
The Real Estate Alliance (REA) network of estate agents and auctioneers have recently estimated the average value of 3 bedroom houses across Ireland and their results are shown below.
Their figures are based on June 2014 estimates, and obviously since that time many house prices, especially in the capital, have increased significantly.
REA have calculated that the value of the Dublin property
market, with just under 500,000 households, is almost
equal to the value of all other properties combined in the
rest of Ireland.
They estimate the mid 2014 3 bedroom residential
property market in all of Ireland was € 326.1 billion, with
the Dublin market taking 47.8% of that figure.
REA claim that Dublin's share of Ireland's property market
rose, from January to June 2014, by 2%.
Dublin is the location for 28% of Irish properties, but due
to higher average house values, will supply almost 50%
of the total 2014 Local Property Tax revenue.
