On this page, we list some new housing projects due for completion during 2017. Despite some new initiatives, demand (and consequent price increases) remains far in excess of supply, especially in Dublin and other major urban areas.
At least 35,00 new homes need to be built every year to meet this shortfall.
However in 2016, only around 14,000 new residential
developments came to market.
This information is based on a recent Irish Times
newspaper article and we will be extending this list in
the near future.
