The list below is a summary of average price changes in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford and Limerick during the period from the fourth quarter of 2019 through to the period in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The total number of houses and apartments advertised on the Daft website dropped to its lowest level since 2015, around 49,000 homes were placed for sale during the entire year.
If we also take into account the disruption in the
construction sector during the COVID-19 pandemic
restriction measures, this has resulted in the lowest
availability of new homes and apartments
in over a decade.
